Very Tight But Surprisingly Comfortable

Wow when I went to put this Arjen Kroos Mens Compression Shirt on it really does compress. They have little clips that go from bottom to top then you can zip it right up. If it weren't for those clips I would have never been able to get it on. The material is very stretchy and once on it really is comfortable and it does take a few pounds off visually.

Size Chart is unstretched, Go by weight

Finding the right size shapewear/compression garment can be difficult online. I'm 6'2", 225lbs with a 46" chest and a 36" waist. According to the size chart, the XXL is 82cm/32in waist and 96cm/38in chest, which shouldn't fit me, but I went by the weight size (XXL=209-243lbs) and it actually turned out fine, so the measurement is of the garment unstretched, not your actual waist/chest size.

So, of course this shirt is tight on me, but that's what you want. If you are over 250 lbs, I don't think you'd be too comfortable in this XXL, but it should be okay if you fall within the weight range. I would say that this is definitely more of a shapewear garment (to wear under clothes to slim you down) as opposed to a compression shirt that I'd wear to work out in. The criss-cross design of the seaming is a little restricting and doesn't seem very conducive to exercising in.

The only reservation I have about this shirt is the material. It's 88% nylon/ 12% polyester (no spandex, but it does stretch) and is sort of a mesh weave which feels a little synthetic. You can see the translucency of the weave in one of my pics and although the mesh design may help with cooling, it does seem to increase my body temperature a few degrees when wearing it under other clothes. I can wear it for a few hours, but by the end of the evening, I want to take it off, so maybe not for all day wear...
